What travellers ask us most.
What licence is required?
A standard category B licence is enough for camper vans (GVW < 3.5t). For Sunset Boulevard, whose GVW exceeds 3.5t, a C1 licence is required. We check licence compliance systematically before handover.
What are the rental conditions?
Main driver aged 25 or above, licence valid for at least 3 years, no recent serious offences. Deposit varies by vehicle and duration. All conditions are detailed in the rental agreement signed beforehand.
Where can a vehicle be picked up and returned?
Standard: at our workshop in Angers. Optional: delivery and pickup at the address of your choice anywhere in mainland France. For deliveries outside mainland France, please write to us so we can study feasibility.
How does delivery work?
A time slot is agreed in advance. On the day, we arrive at the address you provided with the vehicle. Joint inspection, full handover (45 minutes on average), keys handed over. At the end of the trip, we pick up the vehicle on site following the same protocol.
Is the vehicle insured?
Yes, every vehicle has comprehensive cover with 24/7 assistance included. An excess applies in case of damage — the amount and excess-waiver options are specified in the quote.
What does remote monitoring include?
Real-time telemetry: auxiliary battery, fresh and grey water, gas, GPS position, engine health. We monitor actively throughout your trip. If something drifts, we call you or trigger a partner intervention if needed. None of your movement data is used for any other purpose.
What options can be added?
See the Options page. Most are available across the fleet; some depend on the vehicle (bike kit depending on rack configuration). Any extra option not listed can be discussed — we are open to specific requests.
Why don’t you display prices?
Because no two trips are alike. The price depends on vehicle, dates, duration, options, delivery location. Displaying a standard rate card would force us to standardise the service — which is precisely what we don’t want to do. After a first exchange, you receive a tailored quote within 48 working hours, with no commitment.
Are pets accepted?
Yes, subject to conditions. Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome in some vehicles. An extra cleaning fee is charged at end of trip. Please specify breed and size at pre-booking so we can confirm.
Which destinations are possible?
Mainland France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Benelux, United Kingdom (vehicle dependent), Scandinavia. For other countries (Morocco, Balkans, etc.), please write to us — some destinations require specific insurance or customs arrangements.
